- Strong experience with full-cycle accrual-based accounting, including GL account reconciliations, reviewing transactions for discrepancies, journal entries, managing A/P, A/R, and month-end closing responsibilities
- Last 2 years' experience with fund accounting duties including collaborating with fund managers in financial reporting procedures, reviewing accounts for discrepancies, tracking recurring expenses, assist with client deliverables, coordinating with multiple internal departments across several jurisdictions to ensure deadlines are met
- Additional responsibilities include handling or assistance with handling matters related to capital activity, investment activity, income and expense accruals, valuation adjustments, and daily preparation of wires requested by clients
- Candidate possesses high proficiency working with large data sets, critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure, project management under strict deadlines, and working with multiple software programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Candidate exudes a highly professional and articulate demeanor with a strong desire to work with an intelligent team
